	Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for Saint Christopher’s parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Guide us to the ministries you call us to undertake and enable Saint Christopher’s to be God’s safe harbor, an oasis where we can face the storms of life in the presence of Jesus and one another; a place where Jesus Christ is known, taught, and loved. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. AMEN.

	Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen.

My Lord God,
	My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I beleive that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. Dear Lord:
	Help me to spread your fragrance wherever I go. Flood my soul with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of yours. Shine through me, and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel your presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me, but only you, O Lord! Stay with me, then I shall begin to shine as you do; so to shine as a light to others. The light, O Lord, will be all from you; none of it will be mine; it will be you shining on others through me.
